The Dundas Historical Museum
The Dundas Historical Museum is located at 139 Park Street West in downtown Dundas Ontario. Charged with a mandate to search out, collect, preserve and record historical records and artifacts which tell the story of the town of Dundas and its nearby townships, this beautiful museum presents engaging and entertaining displays that tell the story of the Dundas Valley.
The Carnegie Gallery
The Carnegie Gallery, located at 10 King Street West in Dundas Ontario
promotes and encourages the appreciation and production of arts and crafts
produced in the Dundas Valley region and also functions as an education resource
for the community at large.
This building was the site of the first library in Dundas. Funded by a donation from the American industrialist Andrew Carnegie, the citizens of Dundas built this beautiful building which functioned as a library until space requirements necessitated its move to a larger location.
The Carnegie Gallery shop offers a fine selection of visual art, pottery, sculpture, jewellery, glass, woodworking, textiles and photography.
