Dundas Valley Montessori School
Dundas Valley Montessori School is an accredited CCMA Montessori School.
Located at 14 Kemp Street in the heart of Dundas, this one time public school
was purchased from the Hamilton Board of Education and is a fully functioning
school with all of the amenities and facilities that are found in public schools.

The Dundas Valley School of Art
The Dundas Valley School of Art is a traditional art school.
Founded in 1964 by Marion Farnan and Emily Dutton, this school was created to meet the need for professional art instruction in the Hamilton area. With instruction in drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, sculpture and art history the Dundas valley School of Art offers part-time and full time programmes. The part-time programme is the mainstay of the school. The full-time programme is geared for high school graduates planning on an art career and for post-graduate students from other universities. This latter programme, though small, has placed students in prestigious Masters programmes in Canada, Britain and the United States. In the Fall of 1998, a new full-time diploma programme was launched as a joint venture with McMaster University.

Wayne Cass
Wayne Cass, guitar legend in the Toronto Jazz scene and resident of Dundas for the past few years, offers guitar instruction from his studio in Dundas on Mondays and Wednesdays. Wayne's easy going manner and love of all music forms make him a great resource
for students of the guitar.

McMaster University's Youth and Summer programs
McMaster University's Youth and Summer programs offer elementary and high school students
many programs and activities designed to introduce them to the engineering profession in an
atmosphere of fun and friendship.

As part of its 150th Anniversary Dundas Central Public School offerred a
limited edition fine art print of the school by renowned Canadian artist William Biddle.
The print is a romantic recreation of Dundas Central Public School as it appeared on a winter's day in 1857. This print is still available through the Dundas Central Home and School Assocation. Priced at $ 150.00 each print is numbered and signed by the artist.
The full size with frame is 23" x 18".
